WHAT IS ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT?

Strength training is a necessity for athletes and something we want all our athletes to have access to as we continue to grow. We believe this training will better the athlete as a whole - which is why we are calling it Athlete Development. There will be different types of training offered - from the beginner just starting out to the elite athlete who wants to play at the next level.

Breaking it down

Athlete Development: Fundamental training with the goal to increase body awareness, coordination, strength, power and to grow the mind and heart of the individual.

Three Tier System

Movement Foundation: Learning how to move properly through a full range of motion. Includes things such as -  speed & agility, change of direction, running mechanics, jumping & landing, plyometrics and more.

Strength Fundamentals: Mastering the fundamentals with body weight movements and strength training that the athlete can build on to increase athletic ability.

Sports Performance: Ground based, multi-joint, multi-dimensional training (that builds on the fundamentals learned in the strength & movement foundations) that translates power output and strength into sport.
